Wind and Waves at the Lake Superior Mouth of the Bois Brule River

Here is some footage of the crazy wind and wave action at the mouth of the Bois Brule River at Lake Superior in Douglas County, Wisconsin, on April 23, 2016. You can see a pretty distinct border between the roiled up, clay rich Lake Superior water and the slightly murky Brule River outwash where the river meets the lake. I wouldn’t want to paddle on a day like that.
